Saddlehorn Pipeline Survey - 2015

ORA successfully conducted Nationwide Permit 12 related Class II&III Archaeological Inventory Surveys geared towards identifying any cultural resources within and adjacent to a defined area of potential effect for the installation and operation of a 660 mile subsurface pipeline. The Survey was conducted across three states including portions of Colorado, Kansas, and Oklahoma. ORA identified and recorded prehistoric encampments and historic homestead sites that help provide additional insight to the human occupation of the High Plains region.

Working with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), ORA developed Cultural Resource Discovery and Monitoring documents for on-site client use to prevent inadvertent disturbance and impacts to buried archaeological, faunal, and human remains during the construction and operation processes.
