Grand River Dam Authority Survey - 2013

ORA developed a Cultural Resources Management Plan for the Grand River Dam Authority that followed federal, tribal, and state regulatory guidance. ORA performed an intensive Archaeological Inventory Survey focused on the assessment and management of known cultural resource and identifying potential archaeological sites and historic structures within a proposed project area of over 1,800 acres within northeastern Oklahoma.

Working in close consultation with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and other interested parties, ORA established a Cultural Resources Management Plan the mitigation, protection, preservation, and monitoring of prehistoric archaeological sites and historic properties as blueprint for the responsible operation, development, and expansion of critical energy infrastructure.
